Shiona is originally from Maggie Valley, NC, home of the Blue Ridge mountains. In 2003, she found her way home to Havelock, NC, permanently, right after high school. She is the daughter of a USMC veteran that was stationed at Cherry Point. She likes to spend her days with her fiancee of 10 years, her three amazing kids, 2 dogs, and a cat. She enjoys watching her kids play sports, going to the beach, fishing, and going back to the mountains.
After graduating from Tuscola High School, she spent many years in customer service and as a stay-at-home mom. In 2019, she received her veterinary certification at Craven Community College. She plans to further her education in veterinary medicine. Her love for animals lead her to emergency medicine where she can help all types of sick and injured pets.
